Because we ship from the USA, your country charges VAT and import duties on the order. These are included in your checkout total. No surprise fees when your coat arrives. You would pay these fees on any US-shipped order from any brand.

Yes. You may request changes or cancel your pre-order at any time before production begins.

Once production starts, orders can no longer be canceled — but returns are accepted after delivery if it’s not the right fit for you.

I could've made this with cheaper materials, but I chose not to.

The outer shell is 100% nylon, fully waterproof. Same for the duffle bag. Nylon costs more than polyester. It also doesn't shred when it gets wet or rub through after a few trips.

The inner lining is 230T polyester. Tightly woven so it doesn't rip when you stuff a pocket, but light enough that you're not sweating through the airport.

The zippers are high quality, not the bendy ones that snap after a month. The logo on the front is 3D puff embroidery, actually stitched in, not a print that peels off.

And the stitching. 16 accordion pockets means reinforced corners, triple-stitched seams, and gusset sides on every single one. There are more stitches in this coat than most jackets have in their entire build.

No expense was spared. The price reflects that.

The coat is designed to be worn for short windows at the airport, not the entire trip. Here's how it actually works:

1. Pack it as a duffle bag from home and use it like a normal carry-on through the terminal.
2. Right before check-in, gate-check, or boarding, slip it on with everything in the pockets.
3. Once you're seated on the plane, fold it back into duffle form and stow it under the seat.

You're only wearing it for 5–10 minutes at a time. Long enough to clear the bag rule, short enough that heat isn't an issue.

Yes. TSA and airline rules are not the same thing.

TSA screening: Place the coat in the bin like any jacket. They screen it, you pick it up, done.

Airline baggage rules: No airline charges fees on clothing you wear. VoyageCoat is clothing.

Yes, the VoyageCoat is my own design. I created it because I was sick of airline bag fees and the constant carry-on rule changes. Six months of designing, sampling, and refining went into the materials, stitching, pocket layout, and dimensions to make sure it could actually carry clothes without feeling bulky or weird to wear.

It's built for real travel, and converts into a carry duffle bag with built-in handles. When you're not wearing it, you can carry it like a normal bag with everything still inside the pockets.

This product was built intentionally, tested thoroughly, and I'm proud of what it's becoming.
