Not sure? Go true to size. The VoyageCoat is cut roomy on purpose. It will look loose empty, but that room is what holds your gear, and once it's packed the fit closes in. Sizing down means it won't zip when loaded. Sizing up leaves you with excess volume you're carrying for nothing.

I could've made this with cheaper materials, but I chose not to.
The outer shell is 100% nylon, fully waterproof. Same for the duffle bag. It holds up for real travel and doesn't shred when wet and doesn't wear out after a few trips.
The inner lining is 230T polyester. Tightly woven so it doesn't rip when you stuff a pocket, but light enough that you're not sweating through the airport.
The 4 zippers on the coat are premium YKK zippers, not the bendy ones that snap after a month. The logo on the front is 3D puff embroidery, actually stitched in, not a print that peels off.
And the stitching. 16 accordion pockets means reinforced corners, triple-stitched seams, and gusset sides on every single one. There are more stitches in this coat than most jackets have in their entire build.

No. The duffle is not a separate bag. It is built into the coat itself, so there is nothing extra to pack, carry, or keep track of.

Unzip the hem, pull the duffle out, and stuff the coat inside. That is it. The coat becomes the bag.
Anything you packed in the interior pockets stays in the pockets and comes with it. You never have to move your things from one place to another.

Yes. TSA/Security doesn't charge bag fees, that's airlines. TSA only cares about what's inside, just like any other bag.

Yes, the VoyageCoat is our own design. We created it because we were sick of airline bag fees and the constant carry-on rule changes. Six months of designing, sampling, and refining went into the materials, stitching, pocket layout, and dimensions to make sure it could actually carry clothes without feeling bulky or weird to wear.
It's built for real travel, and converts into a carry duffle bag with built-in handles. When you're not wearing it, you can carry it like a normal bag with everything still inside the pockets.
This product was built intentionally, tested thoroughly, and we're proud of what it's becoming.
